Organizers have revealed the new costumes for the 87th Colonial Pageant & Ball, an event highlighting local heritage.

United ISD is considering consolidating five elementary schools to address a multi-million-dollar budget deficit.
A workshop is set for Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Student Activities Center for public input with no final decisions made yet.

On Saturday, Feb. 7 at Laredo Medical Center, runners in patriotic attire competed in the WBCA Run George Run 5K with a free health fair.
Jorge Sanchez (19) won the men's division in 15:11 while Yerin Chang (11) won the women's division in 19:42.
