  • The Budweiser Clydesdales have arrived in Laredo for today’s Budweiser Washington’s Birthday Parade. Locals can visit a Walmart to see the 2,000-pound horses before the event.  KGNS News

  • Laredo College will debut the groundbreaking 'Out of the Box' art exhibit this week, showcasing digital and experimental installations that break traditional art rules. Art professor Mary Provence and ninth-grade instructor Nancy Poinsot helped design the project to spark creative exploration.  KGNS News
  • Viewers can now watch the annual Abrazo Ceremony from the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge via livestream (available on KGNS and CTV apps) as part of Washington’s Birthday Celebration. Officials will close the bridge to allow children and dignitaries from both sides to exchange a symbolic abrazo.  KGNS News

  • The upcoming Washington’s Birthday Parade — expected to boost Laredo’s economy by an estimated $20M — will take place later today, officials said. Community members and local businesses will join the festive celebration.  KGNS News

  • A UISD report released on Feb. 20 indicated projected housing growth amid debates over school closures. The study (which examines local demographic shifts) may influence district planning in the coming years.  KGNS News
  • United ISD has rescheduled a special meeting to discuss budget cuts for March 2 at 5:15 p.m. in the UISD Boardroom at 201 Lindenwood Dr, where officials will present operational and financial updates.  KGNS News
