- ➤ LISD opened online registration for the 2026-27 school year yesterday — parents and students can complete enrollment through the district website. KGNS News
- ➤ Laura Cervera from MacDowell Elementary, who has taught special needs students for 19 years, was named Teacher of the Month by Laredo ISD for February and received a goody basket, T-shirt, coffee tumbler and $250 from the Joey Tellez Law Firm. KGNS News
- ➤ United ISD and Laredo College launched a free CDL program for 11 students who began simulator training on Feb. 24 at Laredo College South Campus and will earn their licenses by May after 200 hours of training — a move that meets local workforce needs. KGNS News
