A Mustang rally car show will take place tomorrow at Pla-Mor, featuring contests for Best in Show, Best Specialty and Best Modified Mustangs (with a $15 entry fee benefiting the LTX Vaqueras) while spectator admission remains free.
The Laredo College “Out of the Box” art exhibition features works by 10 South Texas artists and is on display at the Martha Fenstermaker Memorial Visual Arts Gallery until March 20 — the gallery is open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon.
The Laredo Fine Arts and Culture Commission is launching Phase 2 of its public arts program to recruit local artists and volunteers for mural projects, with installations starting in April (applications are due by March 3).
UISD will launch a cutting-edge online learning platform for secondary students this fall in Laredo.
UISD representative Michelle Lopez said the new program aims to expand virtual lessons and improve educational access.
