United ISD is considering salary cuts for its highest-paid employees amid a budget shortfall reported on Mar.
4. The board will decide next steps as it works to balance its budget (plans are still under review).
United ISD administrators presented proposals to cut salaries for top earners on Monday, March 2 to address a growing budget shortfall.
The board did not act, and a final decision is pending.
George Washington Middle School teacher Anna Garcia was named KGNS-Plus Teacher of the Month yesterday for her inspiring teaching and 10-year club guidance (Bakers and Salsa Club).
She will get a goody basket with gift cards, a T-shirt, coffee tumbler plus $250 from the Joey Tellez Law Firm.
