  • The Laredo Police Department is hosting its first March Coffee with a Cop event today from 8 to 10 a.m. at the McDonald's on 102 West Del Mar Blvd to offer residents a chance to connect with officers and get EZ Child ID cards (available while supplies last).  KGNS News

  • Women from both Laredo and Nuevo Laredo gathered on Bridge One yesterday to mark International Women's Day. The meeting aimed to celebrate the occasion and strengthen community ties across the border.  KGNS News
  • Women from Laredo and Nuevo Laredo gathered on Bridge One on March 6 to celebrate International Women’s Day; a high-school mariachi band joined the march as the Mexican Cultural Institute announced an art exhibit running through April 30.  KGNS News

  • Dr. Alfredo Camaro noted a rise in colorectal cancer among patients under 50 and urged earlier screenings during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Laredo Digestive Health Center will host a fair featuring an inflatable colon on Saturday, Mar. 21 at Mall del Norte.  KGNS News
  • Laredo and Nuevo Laredo officials launched a binational campaign to curb rising congenital syphilis cases through joint public health measures. They plan outreach and prevention education starting soon — more details will be shared as the campaign continues.  KGNS News
