- ➤ Laredo Police reported that shots were fired from a residence at 3900 Bannock in the Cheyenne Subdivision on Saturday afternoon—residents are told to stay away as police block streets. KGNS News
- ➤ The Laredo Police Department investigated a standoff in the Cheyenne subdivision on the 3900 block of Bannock where shots were fired by 27-year-old Fernando Machado from inside a home—officers exchanged gunfire and rescued victims including 22-year-old Frida Castillo, who died, while her brother and Machado remain in critical condition at a hospital—streets in the neighborhood were blocked as the investigation continued.
