EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students from TAMIU Honors and Undergraduate Research Program present research at The Capital of Texas Undergraduate Research Conference in Austin on Saturday, March 28. Presentations include a biology study on tissue growth (using Drosophila) and an analysis of newborn hearing screenings in Thailand with faculty mentors guiding their work. - ➤ TAMIU finance student Jose Bernus finished a competitive Summer 2025 internship at Vantage Bank and developed a Power BI dashboard to spotlight lending opportunities (a project still praised by bank leaders).
