  • Local advocates + authorities gathered for the 26th annual child abuse prevention conference on Thursday, Apr. 2 in Laredo. The event focused on sharing strategies to protect children and strengthen community support networks.  KGNS News
  • TAMIU students, faculty, staff and alumni volunteered on Saturday, March 28 at a day of service that included projects at the South Texas Food Bank, Chacón Creek Hike and Bike Trail, and Paso Del Indio Nature Trail — the group achieved over 13,200 service hours and a $484,176 monetary impact.  Texas A&M International University

  • TAMIU Rec Sports will host its first-ever gaming tournament on Saturday, April 18 at 9 a.m. at the Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 111 + high school esports teams from Laredo ISD, United ISD, and Harmony School of Excellence will compete in team and 1v1 brackets with awards for top finishers.  Texas A&M International University
