- ➤ The Laredo-Webb County Children’s Advocacy Center is holding its annual conference to teach the community how to report child abuse as survivor Elvira Gonzalez and law enforcement officials shared personal experiences and explained proper reporting methods—highlighting the center’s work with over 350 forensic interviews and 200 free counseling sessions for children. - ➤ Residents of the Azteca neighborhood in Laredo are working to restore Las Palmas Park along the river—11 residents have planted 50 plants so far and are consulting with an engineer on plans that include updating the amphitheater and adding gardens. KGNS News
