- ➤ The Laredo Fire Department confirmed that a 67-year-old man died when an 18-wheeler hit his car on the passenger side along I-35 near exit 12B on Sunday, April 20th at 4:00 p.m.—Laredo Police closed northbound lanes while crews cleaned up spilled diesel fuel. KGNS News
- ➤ Laredo Police Department confirmed a fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer and a car near I-35 exit 12B — the northbound lane was closed while injuries were reported and a potential spill was noted as officers continued to investigate. KGNS News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On April 11th, officers in Mirando City stopped an intoxicated ATV driver and the situation turned dangerous when a suspect hit a deputy with a wooden stick—three people now face aggravated assault charges and a teenager was detained. KGNS News
- ➤ Two men were arrested by Webb County Constables’ Precinct One Office as part of Operation Stone Garden; Eduardo Rodriguez faces a controlled substance charge and Christian Negrete is accused of criminal trespass and evading arrest (both paid a bond of roughly $5,000 this past Tuesday).
