Bowlers competed on Saturday, April 25 at Jet Bowl North in a United Way event that raised funds for local agencies like Sacred Heart and Girl Scouts.
The tournament sold out for the third straight year and supported families in need.

Vanessa Ramirez, a Laredo College Culinary Arts graduate who runs Clementine’s Kitchen, explored several career paths before focusing on her passion for cooking after early memories of her grandmother’s kitchen.
She now manages her restaurant, a journey that shows how following one’s dream can lead to success.

El Metro Transit System will extend Saturday service on Route 17 starting May 4 to add stops at Milo Rd & Auburn Rd and Killam Industrial Blvd & Archer Dr, helping passengers and workers in the Mines Road area.
Updated printed schedules and a mobile app will let riders track bus arrivals.
