CRIME NEWS

  • A traffic stop on Rosario Street in Laredo led sheriff's deputies to use a K-9 to search a Nissan Altima driven by Joe Edward Martinez (44) that uncovered 65 alprazolam pills and $16,069 in cash; he was arrested on a controlled substance charge and taken to Webb County Jail.  KGNS News
  • On April 23rd, a Texas Department of Public Safety vehicle pursuit in the Mines Road area ended with the arrest of the 20 year old suspect Angel Muñoz and the detention of six undocumented individuals after a Black Cadillac evaded officers — Muñoz faces charges for evading arrest on foot and in a vehicle and for six counts of human smuggling — in connection with the incident.  KGNS News
