Laredo Parks and Recreation will open splash parks and select pools today and tomorrow for Memorial Day weekend—splash parks run from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and pools at North Central Park including Sisters of Mercy Water Park, Bartlett Pool and San Miguel Pool operate from noon to 7 p.m.—with entry fees of $1 for children and $2 for adults.

Laredo ISD students ended the 2025-26 school year Friday; Hector J.

Garcia Early College High School held its 6 p.m. graduation ceremony that day, and additional ceremonies will run until Tuesday, May 26 while summer school starts Monday, June 1.
