Faith Raising Laredo is launching a monthly prayer initiative that gathers residents on the first Friday of each month across the city — promoting unity and support for all.

The three organizers aim to create a welcoming space for shared prayer and reflection.

Downtown Laredo hosts Caminarte tonight from 6 to 9 p.m., a free monthly art event where the Webb County Heritage Foundation presents the Ancient Landscapes exhibit exploring 50 million years of South Texas history with food and clothing vendors and a mini Pride art expo celebrating Pride Month.

Laredo officials launched a campaign on June 4 for the Global Trade Summit scheduled for July 12 — 14.
