The Laredo Center for Urban Agriculture and Sustainability has announced an event series featuring mezquite bean flour foraging workshops, tastings & cultural events.
The series includes a June 20 foraging hike at Riverbend Nature Preserve and events from August 7-9 at the Farmers Market.

United ISD trustees tabled a compensation plan that would freeze base pay and reduce extra pay for non-teacher groups while seeking clearer options before finalizing changes.
The board also approved key appointments for child nutrition, fine arts, tax collection, and a middle school principal at Ricardo Molina Middle School.
