On Jun. 15, a car crash in Laredo caused an explosion that set multiple vehicles on fire.
A 28-year-old driver lost control on McPherson Road Sunday afternoon — crashing his 2024 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato into a tree near a restaurant and setting fire to his car along with three parked vehicles — and was taken to a hospital in stable condition as investigators look into the incident.
LPD said an auto-pedestrian accident occurred Sunday night at about 9:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of E.
Ryan Street in Central Laredo and both victims were breathing.
Laredo Police arrested 32-year-old Guillermo Duran Navarro for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a weekend stabbing left 38-year-old Victor Hugo Trevino unconscious with a stab wound to the chest on Corpus Christi+ Hendricks Avenue on Saturday, and Trevino is fighting for his life in a San Antonio hospital.
