Power was restored for over 900 Rio Bravo residents after an outage caused by a technical fault on July 3rd — local officials confirmed repairs restored service to the affected area.

A man who allegedly tried to hit a Border Patrol agent at the Laredo North Checkpoint in December will spend 45 months in prison after he was stopped while he was smuggling people—he has a record that includes assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and burglary.
