- ➤ A car crash on Loop 20 at Clark Blvd on Monday, July 14 at 7 a.m. caused delays on the northbound lane as Laredo police assisted those involved—directing traffic and urging drivers to use caution. KGNS News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Deputies stopped a truck for a traffic violation at 4th and 7th Street along Medina Avenue in Zapata early Friday morning and discovered nearly 7 grams of cocaine in three clear plastic baggies during a K-9 inspection, leading to the arrest of driver Larry James Boatright who was taken to jail. - ➤ Laredo Police provided details on a West Laredo stabbing that occurred last night—authorities say the victim is hospitalized and the investigation is ongoing. KGNS News
- ➤ A routine traffic stop near (13th Street and Medina Avenue) in Zapata led deputies to arrest Anna Lisa Alaniz after a vehicle search revealed suspected drugs and cash, and Juan Manuel Gutierrez, who was found with a THC smoking device (both individuals are now in custody as the investigation continues).
