- ➤ The Justice Department is continuing a bribery case against U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar and will drop foreign agent charges under FARA as he faces allegations of taking $600,000 in bribes from a Mexican bank and an oil and gas company—Cuellar, who has represented Laredo and South Texas since 2005, denies any wrongdoing.
