- ➤ On August 18th, Laredo Border Patrol agents stopped a smuggling attempt at a checkpoint and discovered 15 people believed to be in the country illegally hidden in the cab of a tractor— the U.S. citizen driver now faces felony human smuggling charges. KGNS News
