- ➤ Laredo city officials approved a motion on Monday to expand pet adoption campaigns and boost public messaging on responsible pet ownership after 29 animals were unexpectedly taken in, straining city resources. Officials said that by Monday night 21 adoptions had been recorded—showing the urgent need to find permanent homes. KGNS News
- ➤ After more than an hour in executive session Monday night, the Laredo City Council approved a settlement in a lawsuit involving District 7 Council Member Vanessa Perez and Gubagreen Industrial — details remain undisclosed pending final signatures.
