🎓 Education
A scholarship program is giving Laredo adults a chance to return to college—with financial support available for eligible applicants; officials say more details will be announced soon.
🏥 Health
Mayor Trevino signed a resolution placing a nonbinding question on the November ballot asking if Laredo should expand pediatric hospital services.
Four Texas A&M International University nursing students said their rotations highlight the need for more local pediatric care (often forcing them to travel out for training).
