At Vietnam Veterans Plaza, community members held a memorial to honor local veterans who lost their lives from Agent Orange exposure.

The event brought families together to remember their sacrifices and celebrate a lasting legacy.

A memorial honoring veterans affected by Agent Orange was installed last month at Vietnam Veterans Plaza to recognize those killed by exposure and serious illnesses, with Nixon High School donating two military-style benches (an ongoing community effort) and a public vigil set for Oct. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.
