Laredo College will receive over $770,000 to expand its forensics program with a second lab and updated equipment — including crime scene simulation areas — to give more students hands-on training.
Congressman Henry Cuellar announced the funding on Monday, Sept. 7 and the upgrades are set to open next year.

Traffic along Loop 20 westbound toward Mines Road and the World Trade Bridge was at a standstill as LPD announced the Mexican system was down and Bridges 3 + 4 were closed until further notice.
