The City of Laredo Solid Waste Department will collect brush and bulky items in District II on Monday, October 6 for active residential accounts—items must be placed on sidewalks by 7 a.m. and free of obstructions with accepted items including furniture, bicycles, and mattresses.
On October 3, the City of Laredo Economic Development Department announced a $300,000 grant for the Santa Fe Park Hike + Bike Trails Phase 1 project that will build 0.62 miles of new 10 foot ADA accessible asphalt trails, a concrete bridge, header + retaining walls.
The project begins a three-phase plan that will connect Santa Fe Park with nearby parks and schools.
