Good morning, Laredo.

Laredo will host its first all-women's breast cancer awareness race today at a local park.

The event will promote early detection and strengthen community support.

At a recent Suicide Prevention Committee meeting, Laredo Health Department officials discussed gaps in mental health care access citing cost, limited staff, and language barriers that hinder help, and noted that the department offers bus passes for transportation to improve access.
