- ➤ Laredo is set to join the second 'No Kings' protest as announced on Oct. 17; officials have not yet provided details on the protest's time or location — more information is expected soon. KGNS News
- ➤ The Utilities Committee is planning a water-saving landscaping program to encourage replacing grass with Texas native plants (H-O-A rules may conflict) based on a model from San Antonio. Director Al Zabet said they will partner with a nursery and aim to launch the program by March. KGNS News
