Good morning, Laredo.

LAPS will host a Christmas adoption event this Saturday in Laredo featuring photos with Santa, a blanket drive, pet adoptions, and a bake sale to support local animals — volunteer Richard Barraza shared the event details.

LPD officers took selected Laredo ISD students on an early holiday shopping spree in collaboration with Target to help them buy gifts for loved ones and give back.

The program was sponsored by a grant and is part of the annual Blue Santa effort — a gesture of holiday cheer for the community.
