- ➤ On Sunday, Dec. 21, Laredo teacher Felipe Saldivar Rodriguez hosted a posada in the Riverhill subdivision featuring a live nativity, traditional songs, and homemade treats to share the history of Mexican traditions. KGNS News

- ➤ The City of Laredo confirmed that Parks and Recreation Director JJ Gomez passed away on Dec. 23. He led the department for six years (and coached United High) and left a lasting impact on local community programs. KGNS News
- ➤ Webb County provided water assistance yesterday for residents in La Presa Community Center and Las Lomas due to a system outage. Assistance is available today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those without funds. KGNS News
