Laredo Police officers chased a vehicle at 2:14 a.m. this morning near the 2100 block of Chihuahua St after the driver ignored a traffic stop and his tire blew on US HWY 83, and they later arrested him after a foot pursuit and found seven THC vape pens in his vehicle (21-year-old Leroy Cortez) charged with evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
On Sep. 5 at 2:10 p.m., LPD officers arrived at a welfare call and found two children unconscious—investigation details are pending.
Drive-in movies return to Laredo with a Halloween double feature that will show two classic horror films later this month.
