- ➤ Laredo Police arrested Veronica Cervantes on four counts of cruelty to non-livestock animals after officers responded to an animal case call on September 6 at 1:33 p.m.—they discovered malnourished puppies and a bleeding German Shepherd mix at a residence on the 9900 block of Immaculada Lane. EDUCATION NEWS
